Our Standard Course is a term-based course in which students attend 1.5 hours per week on a selected day from our timetable.

Our courses are offered at multiple levels from Beginner to Advanced. Every term an Absolute Beginner level is offered.

Brand new to Italian? Start your journey in Beginner 1 — no test needed.
Know a little already? Take the A1 level test to see if Beginner or Post-Beginner is right for you. Click here.
Feeling more confident? Try the A2 level test and find your place in Pre-Intermediate or Intermediate. Click here.
Experienced with Italian? If you answer most questions correctly in the A2 test, you may join our Upper Intermediate or Advanced levels.

ITE - Italian Travellers' Essential

If you’re seeking a no-grammar, immersive and interactive experience that helps you speak basic Italian, this course is perfect for you. It’s all about practical communication and pronunciation, so you can hit the ground running when you land in Italy!
This crash course will immerse students in real-life scenarios using “hands-on” methodology and cultural insights, helping you confidently navigate everyday situations like ordering food, asking for directions, and booking accommodation and much more. Through role-plays and dynamic activities, you’ll not only learn the language but also gain a deeper understanding of Italy’s rich traditions, customs, and social norms.

Ideal course for Beginner Travellers who just want to prepare for their Italian journey, developing essential conversational skills in a fun and engaging way, focusing on practical communication and pronunciation without any grammar lessons.

Italian Short Courses

Best for those who want to fast-track or brush up on their Italian while still learning something new.
Our Short Courses are an immersion course in which students attend from Monday to Friday, for 2 hours every day (or 3 hours for the Upper Intermediate/Advanced levels).
For this Winter Short Courses we offer:
1) ITALIANO A 360°: a full immersive course for students who want to revise, strengthen, and progress in all areas of Italian while exploring cultural aspects of the language. Perfect for all levels, especially if you’re aiming for fluency or planning to join or continue a Standard Course in Term 1.
Times and Levels:
- Absolute Beginners (IN-PERSON) – from 6pm to 8pm
Take your first steps into the Italian language! Learn essential words, expressions and conversation skills to start communicating with confidence from day one.
- Post Beginners (ONLINE) – (only Wed, Thur, Fri) from 6pm to 8pm (QLD, VIC, NSW, TAS)
Experience Italy through its food! Expand your Italian while discovering regional dishes, culinary traditions, and taking part in a fun online cooking class.
- Upper Intermediate (IN-PERSON) – from 9am to 12pm
Travel across Italy without leaving Brisbane. Explore one fascinating Italian region through its history, traditions, language, food and local culture while taking your Italian to the next level.
